Most of us know the satisfaction of checking something off a list.
The opposite can happen when unfinished tasks accumulate. We can look at everything remaining and overlook what we already accomplished.
Some unfinished tasks genuinely matter.
Others remain through habit, guilt, changing circumstances, or expectations we have never reconsidered.
Perhaps managing a to do list is not only about deciding what to complete. It may also require deciding what can wait and what deserves to be released.

Discussion Question
What remains on your current to do list mainly through habit, guilt, or an expectation that no longer matters?
I enjoy finishing things. Writing gives me an almost endless supply of articles, podcasts, images, ideas, and website details that could receive my attention.
I eventually realized that the list grows faster than I can finish it. That changed the problem from completing everything to deciding what deserves today.
